簡介：Whenthemoviefirststarted,itseemedalittleslowmovingintermsofcharacterdevelopmentanditfeltlikesomeofthelineswerecontrivedandjustweak.Ifoundmyselfthinking,hohum...isthisgoingtobeanothermediocrefilmbyWolfeVideo?(Notalltheirstuffisbad,butsomeofitisterrible.)Fortunately,afterafewminutes,thestoriesofthecharactersbegintounfoldandwebegintogetasenseofidentifyingwitheachofthem,whotheyare,andwhytheyhavecometogether.Isay"eachofthem"becauseI'mamanandcanseealittlepartofmyselfineachofthesecharacters(whethernoworinthepast).Iwon'tgiveanyofthestoryaway--therearesomeverytensescenes;however,theyarewelldone.Thebrightspotisthatthisfilmisaninsightfullookathowmeninteractwitheachothersometimes,theywaywethinkasmenandhidethings...notjustfromwomen,butfromothermenaswellasfromourselves,eventoourowndetriment.Deepdown,allmenaresearchingforacceptance.　　　　WhileIwouldn'tcallthisanupliftingfilm,it'salsonotadownereither.Weareleftwithgoodfeelings.Admittedly,Idothinktherecouldhavebeenabitmorecharacter/storyresolutionintheendwithsomeofthecharacters.We'relefthanginginsomeways...butthenagain,lifeisalsolikethatattimes,ie:sometimes,thingsinlifehappenthatweashumansarejustnotabletoresolve,andagain,asmen,ourwayofresolvingthemisjusttoburythemandnottalkaboutthem.　　　　WhilenotthenextbigOscarwinner,Idefinitelyfoundthisagood,solid,watchablefilm,andwouldrecommendit.Greatperformancesbyalltheactors,butIanTraceyreallyshinesasTrevor.Hisoutstandingperformancethroughoutreallyhelpsbringthewholeensembletogether.IcouldnotimaginethisfilmworkingaswellasitdidwithouthimasTrevor.A+
